Employer
Rights
The
human rights code prevents discrimination in the
private sector. But, how do you, as an employer,
distinguish between discrimination and legitimate
exclusion? Sometimes things are simply not working
out, and someone cannot perform the essential tasks
of the job.
While discrimination cannot be tolerated, there
must be room to ensure that you have people around
you who can get the job done. Is it a matter of
accommodation? Or is it a matter of undue hardship?
These are difficult questions and we can help you
build your strongest defense around these concepts.
